A group of archaeologists in western Iran have discovered petroglyphs that depict various symbols and figures in black and ocher colors. Some of the petroglyphs depict hunting and horse riding scenes. The age of the drawings is estimated to range from 2,200 to 40,000 years old, and they are compared to the Teymare petroglyphs found earlier in the Hamedan province.
